The amount of dryhead being used as a filler is bad for my heart 😱 starting to think about buying more materials or trading to give them a nice variety in the backsplash without using as many of the more rare materials!
Edit: I have gotten permission to mix in other things, they don’t care about only using rocks from the “collection”. I will be stocking up on teepees in the near future! Any suggestions on what else might be a good substitute? Could also mix in a larger quantity of lesser quality dryheads, I guess.

OMG cabby! That is absolutely intense! Before I read what you put about the Dryheads, I was thinking the same thing! LOL If it were me, I'd use the "lesser quality" Dryheads...like the slabs which are fractured, as the fractures (I wouldn't think) won't show up once the epoxy is poured over them...

That big slab of Luna 😂. Looks like the countertop here in town with all the rare stuff in it.

But then I got overwhelmed by the dry head filler… kinda suspected that I would have a heart attack the next time I saw this counter, since I can recognize some things now!

Father in law described it as “I literally just grabbed whatever and cut slabs. Don’t care what it is as long as it looks nice”. I’ve been given free rein to decide what is used for the backsplash, thankfully! They want to keep a mixture of large and small agates, and fill it in completely, but no other requests. Will use the pics to help narrow down their tastes for the “looks nice”, but they are NOT getting good dry heads or Luna as fillers!

That's a fine use of slabs for sure.
Outstanding conversation piece and beautiful to look at.
