I have made my first three cabs..😁..and now need to decide what to do with them. I tried wire wrapping them...that's an art all in itself!
I have surfed around and have found a belt buckle that looks interesting.
Anyone every tried to fit a cab in a silver dollar insert belt buckle?
Self taught...Beginner level?

Yeah. Just cut the cab to fit and put in place.

Also also depends on the buckle insert. This will dictate how the girdle needs to be cut.

elpam - Great job on those cabs! Those are extremely flat-topped...and no apparent scratches! Way to go!! I've done the silver-dollar belt buckles before. It was harder than I thought. The cabs had to be super thin...like the width of a silver dollar! Also, they need to be the same exact size of a silver dollar to fit into the insets just right...

Thanks everyone... I had so much fun making them. I know I have a lot to learn but it's a start. They are oval and they shine
