I'm going to jump right in. #1 Looks like Stitchite or Burro Creek Pastelite. I have yet to figure out the difference. #2 Said Heliotrope - I don't know what a heliotrope is because I was lazy and asked before I searched. #3 Almost looks like Ocean Wave Jasper, but the colors seem off. I wanted to say maybe Fancy Jasper? #4 Either Fordite or Surfite - Can anyone tell the difference? It feels rubbery if that helps. #5 Best guess pigeon blood Jasper? Scratch that - not an agate. Wayyy off. These next ones I don't have a guess for.... #6 #7 #8 #9 #10

#1 looks like phosphosiderite to me. #2 may be heliotrope (bloodstone) Jasper #4 is surfite (surfboard resin). Fordite is many layers of dried paint. FYI, there is also bowlerite, which is chopped up bowling ball resin. Not sure of the rest.

2 heliotrope- aka fancy jasper
3 ocean wave or bad OJ
4 surfite
6 possible champagne agate
9 and 10 flame agate

Fordite is layers of dried paint. It’s not a real stone Here’s some Are you sure about that? It doesn't resemble fordite I've seen and I was an automotive painter. That looks more like slag, though if it is rubbery, I don't know what it is.

It is it’s fire truck red & ambulance red and school bus yellow It came from the state paint shop so I was told from the guy I got it from. Most fordite is from a car manufacturer that paints every color of the rainbow is why mine looks different then what your use to.

I would guess that is from a dried up paint bucket. True fordite is made from built up layers of overspray in a paint booth. That'll make neat cabs.

I don’t know how it formed I only know where it came from. If it came from a dried bucket it would be only one color.
I use to paint residential and commercial and have seen dried paint in a bucket it’s one big glob.

I use to paint residential and commercial and have seen dried paint in a bucket it’s one big glob. I obviously meant several colors mixed in a bucket. I'm not really disagreeing insomuch as I am wondering how it was formed like that. Fordite doesn't form like that.

I almost think the guy made it to make something for his wife. I can’t remember it’s been so long ago but I think he cut cabs to.
He did work for the state in the paint shop.

Here’s a question for you goobers that cab dried paint. Does that stuff gum up your hard wheels by chance. I can’t help but feel like it would to some degree get down in the wheels and mess with the cutting efficiency.

Maybe he can answer you.

I don't have much to add that others haven't already said...
However...it wouldn't be like me if I didn't say something! LOL
I believe that is Surfite...based on the colors alone. They're more surfboard colors than car colors. It also just looks like other Surfite pieces I've seen. Fordite layers seem to be a lot thinner layers between the colors as well.
I wouldn't be shocked if #5 turned out to be Mary Ellen...
