I just ordered a boot gasket from Minnesota Lapidary and the the gentleman on the other end tells me he has lots of Lortone parts, except barrels. He also offered me the option of snail mail, whereas Kingsley North and Rock Shed are offering shipping options starting at almost $17 for less than a pound of small stuff. My boot gasket will cost, he said. under $3 to ship. He also told me that he expects Covington, the new owner of Lortone, to start production again in the near term. He also carries Lot-O tumblers. Thought you folks would want to know.
Take care, M. Harber

Update: Today I called Covington looking for a speed controller switch for my Ameritool. $37 with shipping!! Anyway, I was told they are making Lortone tumblers again and have barells. Look for them soon at your favorite dealer.

It was impressive and well run.

We can't ignore the add-on costs of shipping any more. I have since been told, when I called about a speed control switch for my Ameritool ($37 with shipping- ouch!) that Lortone tools and parts are coming off the line- specifically barrels. They should be in dealers' hands soon.
