I am looking to acquire a 3-5 lbs vibratory tumbler and am looking for help as to the best choice. I had heard a lot of good things about the Lot-O tumbler. However recently it appears there had been a lot of problem with them and they were no longer available. But I recently saw there is a new owner and they are now available. Does anyone now if the quality issues have be resolved and what, in your opinion, is the best vibratory tumbler in the size I mention. I would truly appreciate anyone thoughts and opinions as the best unit to buy.

The Lot o's get very good reviews except for problems they had in the past. Hopefully the new ones are better as many people really l9ike them. The MiniSonics also get great reviews. Both of those are $300+. I have a RayTech Vibe 5 which I like very much, although I wish I had one of the ones above. I paid around $110 for it including fast shipping to my door, from zoro.com They'll offer you 15% off and that's what makes it so cheap. Do not get a tumbler made for metal parts or ammunition shells. They seem to offer a lot but are not suitable for rocks and they'll break apart on you pretty quick. Good luckl.

It’s faster than the mini-sonic.

It’s faster than the mini-sonic. How fast do you need? My first batch in a Minisonic was cabs. I was starting to see a difference after the first hour. I run all the stages, 2 through polish for 2 days each. I can have my rocks polished before you can get the Loto glued to some concrete blocks! . They're both good tumblers, I have a personal issue with how the Lot-O needs to be mounted and I always thought it looked like something they would sell in the back of a comic book. You can't downplay it's results though. I don't know how many times it's won the World Wide Rock Tumbling Competition, but I know it's been used by the winner for several of the recent ones.
