Is there away to automatically go to the end of threads when I click on them? Right now every time I click on a thread it takes me to the very first post on the thread and then I have to scroll all the way to the most recent post. Is there a way to start at the most recent post every time?

Hi, this has always been a bit wonky for me as well and my understanding is it has to do with being an anchor link and anchor links are handled differently in browsers. In general if you click directly on the little word "NEW" at the front of a link it should take you to the last viewed spot so you can continue on.
If you have the time to list out the steps you take (inc. device and browser) I will take it to Proboards Support and report back if I find anything.

Oh, interesting. I usually am on my iPhone 14 Plus, and navigate to my threads from my profile page. The “New” button is super small on the phone.
On another forum I used to visit a lot quite a few years ago you could just click a button in your settings and every thread would be sorted newest to old. I thought maybe I was just missing this feature here. No biggie. I’ll start looking for the “New” button more.

Not sure if you're viewing it in "mobile" view, or "desktop" view on your phone...but I think desktop view will allow you to do the following: If you want to see the most recent threads, just choose the Recent Topics tab at the top. This will sort threads by the most recent... If you want to automatically go to the last post in a thread, don't tap on the thread title on the left. If you tap on the far right column (Last Post), it will open the thread and go to the very last post. It won't go the the last post you necessarily read...but it will take you clear to the end... |
