Been dealing with another brown recluse bite for about a week now.
Bit once before in the arm back about 38 years ago, which took 6 months to heal.
This time it got me on top of my big toe, where I finally found the fang marks.
The tendons in my foot, especially under the toe, have been so tight, and the bone pain is incredibly bad. Best way to describe it is that it feels like nails being driven in to the bones of the foot. And I have not been able to put any pressure on the foot, or even have anything like a sheet touching the toe area without extreme pain.
Finally getting a handle on it, and the pain has dropped drastically although I still cannot walk on the foot.
Wanted to let people know what has worked the best for me in case they ever run in to such a situation. I have been using ozone, bagging the foot for about 5 hours a day. This has drastically reduced the pain each time I ozonate the foot, and has helped reduce the damage from the venom drastically. Was able to put a small amount of pressure on the foot for the first time in a week yesterday, and hoping that it will heal sufficiently by later today that I can actually walk on the foot again.
I did not hook up my ozone unit to oxygen for a higher ozone output, I just attached an air pump for the starter gas.
Ozone is a fantastic healing compound with many medical uses from cancer to infections. Anyone interested in learning more about it, there are all sorts of medical studies about the efficacy of ozone therapy for a variety of conditions on PubMed.

Hope you get better soon. This is one of the reasons I don't go bearfoot here in Missouri.

Those Brown Recluse bites are rough to deal with and you don't even feel them bite.
I have two scars from long past bites of those. One on my arm and one on my leg.
Takes a long time to heal. Sounds like your treatments have you heading in the right direction though.
Hope you heal up soon.

Oh no! Sorry for your pain, but it's good that you're healing relatively fast. Good to know about the ozone therapy.

Hope you keep healing fast. Even though you didn't feel the bite do you have any clue as to where it might have occurred?
