Neighbor has a rock collection outside. Was chatting with her and she said she had a shelf around the back of the house that had rocks on it, and that if I wanted to slab any of them I could go for it.
Turns out she has an old larger candle holder that was made of Sodalite. Had a bit of chalk quality stuff in it, and after sitting outside the larger pieces crumble, but there is still some usable beautiful blue in it.
Around an inch on the long side. Featuring cat hair by Teddy. I miss my Digital Rebel. I may need to buy a decent macro digital camera just for cab pics.
