Hi all,

I'm 8 days into the polish stage in my rotary. There were 3lbs of rocks in the barrel, along with ceramic media and plastic beads.

I've just realised that I only put 4 tablespoons of grit in. Should I stop the run to assess and add more grit or just let it continue? How long for?

4 Tbsp is plenty in a 3lb barrel. Probably only really need 3. Also, 8 days is generally long enough for each stage after coarse... though I do tend to let my polish stage run for 2 weeks when I'm using my rotary tumbler. It generally doesn't hurt anything to run longer.

I agree with the above. I'd let it run it's normal stage run. If you don't like the results...you can always run any of the stages again...including the polish stage...
