I cut open my first agate last night. A Brazilian Agate from the rock shed cut on a Hi_tech 10" saw. It was fist sized so it took 3-4 minutes to cut. From the window I could tell it was highly likely to be cool, but the wife and I both were shocked and excited once we opened it up together. I always wondered if the youtube agate cutting reactions were 100% real, I now fully understand the reaction.
I'm going to save this one as a display piece and polish it. The other half I will probably put in the tumbler just to see what happens.

Just face polish both sides and display. I think you’ll regret tumbling the other half. I have a bunch of Brazilians around my house. It looks pretty good on a shelf having the matching pair. But that’s just me.
Also.. congrats on a nice one.

Another nice find on a Brazilian Agate cutting. Looking forward to polishing this one. I butchered the cut a little but it'll grind up and polish. The geode pocket looks a little purple.
