Is anyone else excited to get more rocks to tumble or it is just me? I was like a little kid on Christmas morning earlier when my orders from Kingsley North and The Rock Shed arrived with more rocks. My husband was laughing at me when I said that this reminded me of "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" where Charlie Brown only gets rocks instead of Halloween candy while trick-or-treating. I'd rather have the rocks, although Charlie Brown wasn't too happy with them lol. (short video from the Halloween special from Charlie Brown) Charlie Brown's Halloween Special: I got a rock "I got five pieces of candy!" "I got a chocolate bar!" "I got a quarter!" Charlie Brown: "I got a rock." Looking forward to lots more tumbling - green tree agate, sea jasper, desert/polychrome jasper, and a tumbling mix of probably different types of agates and jaspers and possibly quartz.

On the virtual street of RTH we shall all line up and knock the doors on each other's houses. "Shock or Rock". That will become my best memory of Halloween.

ladywolf6692 - Hilarious comparison with Charlie Brown! I'm still super stoked every time I know there's rocks heading my way! In fact...I get disappointed if I don't get something rock-related as gifts for birthdays or holidays! LOL

I got my daughter and her boyfriend started in this hobby. SHe went from a Nat.Geo to having A model B, an AR-2 and a CE 2 barrel in a matter of 2 months. We each order rocks and then ask the other one- "hey wanna split a box" Of course the answer is always 'YES" When the rocks arrive we spend hours looking at them and playing "take a rock" Our last batch of Botswanna's took 2 hours to divide up!

But I get most excited with the unusual rocks the kid and I find here in south central Texas. From beautiful petrified woods to unique agates, we have a blast tumbling what we find. My second favorite are rocks that people here on the Forum have sent me. We enjoy trading boxes of what we find here locally with others in their home states. I enjoy seeing what others find in their local. Actually, I need to start trading again. Had to stop for the last several months because of injury, but I’m ready to go again. I even have a thread about it…’Rock Exchange Shenanigans’. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/1309320/thread
