This might not be the best place for this but on the off chance it is well here goes. Looking for an ear wire bending tool? And for the tool freaks ( I happen to be one of them 22 pairs of pliers and counting lol) this should be a no brainer. Spouse thinks it would be nice if I could make matching ring and earrings so they match, I don’t get it but ok. (I’ll try huh) Trying to buy just one but we all have been on that side of it , the rabbit hole kinda spirals out of control from time to time, I know you all get where I’m going. Any help would be appreciated, thanks for looking

I use my round nose pliers, flat jaw pliers & # 11 dopping punch as a mandrel, and of course a bur cup to smooth the cut end of the wire.
Sorry, no exotic tools needed (except maybe the bur cup).

Perhaps you might consider making a jig with a base and two (or three) vertical posts. It might enable you to repetitively wrap a longer length of wire that would yield multiple ear wires. The wire would first be hardened using pliers by stretching it with one end in a vise. That would make the wire somewhat springy, so the post diameters and spacing would have to account for that. Removing a completed wrap, one would take a sharpie and mark the cutting points (lines) on the coil. I don't know if this idea holds water, but I find making tools or jigs to be more fun than metalsmithing.
