This was my first ever 6 lb batch. I’ve always polished in a three pound barrel. It’s a lot of rocks to look at. Mixed agate with a better than average polish. The obligatory ugly towel shot. Its a big pile of rocks. Bots Swali, Swazi, Mozambique Alimajo Ohio flint from Peta rocknewb101 (the polish is amazing) and a very cool slabette from ashley smalls, and spalls and glass cutter pieces. My favorites, front and back. Thanks for looking.

There are too many beautiful pieces. My favorite is the Alimajo batch. The fortifications are charming.

Great polish! I've had my best polishes come out of a 4.5lb barrel (I don't have a 6). Even shinier than my mt4. Its just that the vibe is soo much faster!
Anyways, I think the almajo agates steal the show, although the swazis are super nice in my opinion as well.
Do the almajo agates come from Mexico? They look super similar to some baby malawis i just got...nearly identical!

If the blob hits the surface there are nice fortifications. Hollow or soft centers are common.

I just looked it up and yes you are correct! For some reason I thought the alimajo was from Mexico. Well now I know

That's one heck of a nice batch. All of them are pretty stunning. I like the Botswanas. The SS&Ms (Swali, Swazi, Mozambique), are my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
