I finished this one the other night. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, especially without any real plan going into it. I just kind of winged it on the design the whole way.

Home run on winging part. The whole piece looks great 👍🏻. The stone and silver go great together. Looks to me like you soldered the s shaped wire directly to your bezel with no silver under it, great torch control. (What type of torch do you use). Wow just one more time lol thx for sharing can’t wait to see your next first project.

Great job! I like the way the beads lead the eye up the cab. Not too bad for winging it.

I found myself zooming in and hunting for the solder lol. Very nice work! Looks beautifully clean, almost like the S and balls and floating! To me, a more simple design that is well executed looks FAR more elegant than something complex. I like that you are exploring different types of designs! Do you plan to offer both wire wrapped and smithed work for the future?

Thanks for all the positive comments. The picture is a little deceptive because it blends so well into the background. . You can see much clearer against the white background that there's a flange all the way around the bezel. The little scroll wires are soldered to that.

How very funny ! I couldn't for the life of me, with the first photo, understand how that top scroll, on either side was actually attached, as there was a small space between it & the bezel. Now that you show the backplate, I can't help but see it in the first photo too. Thanks for explaining the mystery .

It's funny in the first pic how even when you know the top opening where the two "raindrops" are is open, it has a flaw in the patina that totally makes it look like you're seeing the stone.

That's your first pendant? I've made lots of pendants and I think you just outdid me. Flange or no flange, that's really nice.
