I think I saw a video that said to peen sintered blades but not the textured rim, or vice versa. I only have a 6" HiTech trim saw but would like to sharpen the blades. I have both types of blades that came with the machine.

Sintered can be peened, and the old continuous notched rim blades can too. The newer notched/sintered can be as well, like the HP greenline blades, but careful not to knock one out of it. The budget crimped edge blades and the thin kerf plated blades aren't going to be helped with a hammer or file or whatever you use.
