9 ft of 18 gauge sterling silver wire. All the rings are soldered.

Nice! Is it an illusion or does the shape change from round on the bottom to something else on top?

Whoa that's really impressive! How long did it take to solder all those links? It seems like it would take an eternity lol

Nice! Is it an illusion or does the shape change from round on the bottom to something else on top? Thanks Chris. I twisted it a bit when I laid it down. It's a double line of rings intertwined. It's wider on the front and back then the sides. The front or top is showing at the bottom of the pic. On the top of the pic you're looking at the side. Whoa that's really impressive! How long did it take to solder all those links? It seems like it would take an eternity lol Thanks! It took a while to solder them. I've not done much soldering so it was actually good practice. I got a lot quicker as I went. Learned some little tricks to keep the snippets of soldering from flying away!

Looks nice & neat-no hiding those joints ! But, I bet you won't willingly do that again (make all those jump rings)

Great job! Chain making is time consuming. I hope you had a jump ringer to cut your rings on.

Thanks Patty! I'm a glutton for punishment. My wife wasn't interested in one until she saw it finished. Now she wants one. The good thing is she has a very small wrist! Thanks Thomas! I was happy with how it turned out. Great job! Chain making is time consuming. I hope you had a jump ringer to cut your rings on. Thanks, Diane! I had to look up jump ringer. Awesome tool. We had a Pepe machine for rolling the rings. Since looking up the jump ringer I recognized the part Pepe has for holding the coil. Not sure if the saw is in the kit at the school or not. The instructor had us cut the coil with a hand jewelers saw. The hardest part is holding it. Sorry Robin! I'll get your name right yet! I was wiped out from work when I was typing this.

I love this - it's insane. I can't imagine how long this took to make. Very impressive!

LOL! You called Robin "Diane" again. Ooops. Hell, I am always forgetting names!
The bracelet is awesome and certainly more than I ever want to do. I bet it really was great practice, though. Your class seems quite good!

Doh! Hummingbird, Robin, it shouldn't be that tough. The real troubling part is I thought about it as I was typing and wanted to make sure I got it right! The only thing I can say in my defense is it was a tough day at work. Very physical with some time in an attic and it was 100+ outside. I think my brain was cooked.
