Hey all. So I would like to do a review for both the Large and medium kits
Large:
Meduim
I bought 3 sets over the last year and I think I have a pretty good idea of their selection. Being in Trinidad, when items from the states are shipped, we use skyboxes to bring it to trinidad. Aside from ebay and amazon I have never done non storefront purchases. That being said, picking are slim and while there are sites we can order rocks from the prices can be crazy high. That being said, after the complete disappointment of the Nat geo kits, I took a chance on this selection and I think its time for a review.
So why did I go with a variety kit? I discovered a variety and expanded my knowledge into geode types I didn't consider.
The pros 1) The selection was very good and varied with a large variety eac kit I bought. Of course some were more included than other types, but I would say the variety was quite interesting. 2) All geodes were hollow. The size of the cavities varied, but generally they have all been hollow 3) Interesting mineral inclusions. While not many had them, there were present. 4) Packaging. Neat and very well ordered with no wasted spaces. 5) Geodes were dusty but pretty clean. Nat geo had a serious problem where the mud was so much that 25 percent of a geode would be clay 6) 12 is a pretty good number if you are looking for a god variety
Cons 1) I have seen medium geodes in their box of large. That one is not forgivable. Their large box should have been bigger to include large geodes. 2) Their website is not functional so if you have concerns, I have no idea what will be done
