USPS-Las Vegas has a problem. This is common. I have had a package sent from there to California, back to Las Vegs, and finally to Utah and me. But 3-4 days bouncing around Postal places in town happens all the time!

Did this shipment originate in Australia? Are you ordering boomerangs again?

I once sent a USPS package to Los Angeles from California, and it took a detour to New Jersey somehow.

Seen packages bounce around like this from LA to China twice in a day, which is physically impossible

Did this shipment originate in Australia? Are you ordering boomerangs again? No, it came from Indiana.

How about this 1dave . I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I think the Pony Express could have gotten this small parcel to me by now. I received the message on the left on Aug 17. EDIT: as of 8-30-2024 I still have not received the package.

I have had similar experience with packages going to Kansas City then to Las Vegas back to Kansas City, then back to Las Vegas before coming back to KC.
On a separate but related topic, I just got a news letter from my Congressman. He has been trying work on getting better mail delivery for some time (not working). Apparantly, in the recent primary election in this area, there were many absentee mail in ballots that did not get delivered to the county clerks before the election day (and didn't count - might be a Missouri thing) even though they were mailed well before the election. So, if you are going to vote by mail, I suggest you get it in really really early or better yet, take it in yourself.

Sadly I had this happen to me as well just last month. My package started in Houston, Tx and was supposed to go to West Virginia. I used Ground Advantage which includes $100 insurance. It was neatly written, and clear tape over address for protection. It went to Irvine, California and bounced around 4 different stations there before being delivered to somewhere in Irvine. I filed a claim, but of course have no answers.
