I recently finished this one for some people who "want to tumble bigger rocks". Four barrels total, runs two at a time, each 8 inch barrel ~25 pounds capacity. Overall length 34 inches. Color is by request, I kinda like it.

That’s a fine-lookin’ tumbler, Larry . . . rockin’ & rollin’ all in one.

Very nice work, your stuff always looks better than factory stuff. What's the barrel construction, if you care to share?

Rockoonz: Thanks for the compliment, two of the barrels {shown} are 8" gray plastic electrical conduit, the other two are blue 8" PVC. 7/16" is a practical minimum working wall thickness for plastic barrels. End covers are 3/4 white plastic much like cutting board material, might be polypropelene {sp?}. I made up a couple of the gray ones for a friend's Lortone tumbler, says he gets a better finish with them than the originals. Fixed end covers gasketed, glued with sealant, and attached with drywall screws, removable covers attached with 1/4" hanger bolts. All holes need to be pre-drilled. Innertube, often free at a local tire store, or the thicker pond liner {seems to be two thicknesses out there} makes great gasket material. Gaskets on both ends are rings rather than a solid disc, experience taught me that a solid disc gasket will wear a hole in the middle making a good grit and pebble trap. fixed
