Got one cab done today. It is from a slab that I got from realrockhound. Thanks! First pic is the overall slab. I took two preforms from the green area. This is one of them. Unfortunately, when I got to 280 grit wheel, I noticed a big crack (3rd pic) most of the way across the cab plus there were some small voids. Hopefully, the other green one and ones in the red area will be better. Will have to take a close look for cracks before starting. Original slab. This cab is from the green area with just a little red. First two pics are the same cab, one being upside down since the light reflection is so big. Third pic is the crack (look right in the light). Thanks for taking a look, Chris

Still looks good. I freaking hate when that happens. A lil tip for identifying fractures is slabs. Soak the slab. Then wipe the stone dry. Then where you still see moisture in the fractures, mark them with a pencil.

Have you done a cut that’s half red and half green?

That one I showed was just getting into the red but agree a complete change from one to the other would really look spectacular.

Very nice cab. The green and red works very well together. Thanks for sharing.
