Below are three Graveyard Point plume agate doublets. One is backed by (green) amazonite and the other two are backed by basanite. The second one is actually the nicest, but there is too much glare in the photo - need to work on my photography skills. I enjoed making these. Thanks for looking!

Great skills and beautiful cabs. Thanks for sharing such nice material. What is the top material? Thanks for commenting. All 3 cabs are from the same piece of Graveyard Point plume. As you can see, the backing pieces makes a huge difference.

Fantastic looking doublets Garry!! All three look great...but those Basanite backed two really stand out! Thanks Jason! I was inspired by some of your posts to make these. Also, Bikerrandy had some nice doublets posted several years ago. I agree that the basanite backing worked best for this stone. I will probably rework the green-backed one.

Well that just made my day! Bikerrandy was PUMPING them out at an alarming rate! He was my inspiration too. I can't tell you how many times I've made googly-eyes over some of his pieces! LOL
