My dad had some really old tins of polishes in his shed. they are labeled poorly with old tape, one says titanium dioxide, and the other says zinc oxide. are they still good? I think they must be 20 years old. And if so, what are they good for?
thanks again everyone it’s so nice to get help with some of this stuff!

Those really old tins of polishes are still good for . . . polishing rocks. : )
Titanium dioxide is the polish supplied with Thumler’s tumblers. Zinc oxide isn’t common around here—more of a Brit thing—but you won’t hurt any rocks trying it on a batch.
