Nothing to show yet but I finally got mine all wrapped after it sat dormant for a while. I have to fire up the tumbler and clean up and patina several pieces.

Okay, here's mine. It's right at 5 in wide. The center Stone is an inch and a half tall.

Looks like it was tricky to get those top cabs secured, but you conquered that elegantly.
And even matching chain ! I really like your hammered styled pieces.
Nicely done-thanks for the creative and inspiring piece,
BTW- what is the stone ?

Thanks Patty. Hopefully someone will want it at the Renaissance fair we have coming up. I made it with that in mind. It was interesting attaching the side stones. I kind of boogered up the top wires. I've been thinking about winding a coil wire around them. Originally I wanted to weave in between those top wires but couldn't pull it off because of the angles. I might be able to do that now too as it's not a very big space. The stone is Fire Ledge Jasper that came in a box of leftover show rough that I got from Roy.

Another One made with the Renaissance Fair in mine that might have qualified for the challenge. It's a little bit over 2 in across This one was done from a tutorial.

Besides, you already did the LOS . Put a good price on that one-statement pieces need statement prices .
I like your second pendant - calling out for matching earrings. Although, truth be told, could definitely could be for a guy. Maybe you should make a second one as a set.

Good idea on the earrings Patty. They could be a lot simpler too, like just one spiral. I'll be changing my prices on everything for the next sale. They take 15% of your total. We have been including sales tax in the price but I don't think we will this time. Sales tax there is over 9%, if we include the tax we would be looking at loosing almost 1/4 of the total right off the top! I think psychologically the prices won't look as bad without the tax even though people know it's going to be tacked on. I thought this one could pretty easily be the price of 3 pendants although I'll probably won't go quite that high. It is 2 days though so I can always start out high and then adjust if I think it's needed.

rockbrainYears ago we used to make a lot of clothing for people selling in the craft market, and one customer (on our urging) double her prices for a large show & she thanked us afterward, when she sold more than double her normal sales. Too cheap & people think it's not worth it. Don't be afraid to charge what it's worth-your jewelry is beautiful & people should value it. Patty

rockbrain Gary, I looked at this late last night and just didn't have the energy left from the day to comment. Why? There's so much to like! So much to rave about! The stones are perfect. Their sizes are perfect. I love the way each is wrapped, and then bound together. I love the hammering--and the linked chain. Not in my wildest dreams could I have put that together--I'm just amazed at how you did it! With a conglomeration of parts, you brought it all together. You should now hold a lottery for who should be on your Christmas list . . .

Okay, here's mine. It's right at 5 in wide. The center Stone is an inch and a half tall. Absolutely awesome! I love everything about it. If I wasn't so tired (I just got back from vacation) I would whip out every superlative I know. LOL! Really, Gary this is special and beautifully shows off your talent and ability.

So I have to admit I struggled at first to come up with a suitable “theme” for my statement piece. I needed something to focus on, and then I remembered (or rather, re-read), that 2024 is the Chinese “Year of the Dragon”. So I looked at on-line dragon wraps, & came up with one that was much less of a tutorial, and more of a concept, on youtube I liked the idea of it, incorporating copper sheet metal with wire, and there were a whole lot of wire wrapping techniques I had to learn, to pull it off. And, eventually, and somewhat to my surprise, I did.
He has a 3 3/4" wing span & is 4 1/2" tall, horns to tail. Fortunately, I had some tiger eye beads to go along with my cab.
So here's my statement piece, I think you'd definitely need the right sweater to wear it ! Thanks for the challenge, Patty....... scared to see what Gary comes with for the next one !!

liveoak Patty, I saw this this morning and wanted to wait until I had some better words to express how I felt about it. Holy s*** is the best I can come up with and it's already been used. I'm just at a loss for words. It's absolutely spectacular. Certainly not a single thing I would change. Awesome piece. With this one and your nightmare catcher that you posted earlier you've really stepped it up on this one.

Well, YOU wanted a statement piece !
I'm now trying to figure out a suitable earring style to go with it. I still have some tiger eye beads & chips - need to play with it.

It was certainly a process.
Truthfully, I'm kinda glad it's done already !
