Bobalite Cab

realrockhound tells me that this is what his family called this material.   I couldn't find anything on it.  Perhaps he can add a little more of the history and details (I am sure there must be some stories).   I thought it looked a little funky unpolished but it polished well.  Has a few pits and as Jason would say, it is a little chippy, but with the pattern you don't notice them.   And yes realrockhound, I will start doing something besides ovals.    Just like to get a feel for the material on them first.
