I suspect the young girl was focused on “pretty rock”, whereas “rock hound” seems to be a person in a desert holding cut rocks 😆

I think I would be both curious and disappointed if my rockhounding was turning up cut material… wouldn’t be the first time I’ve cut a rock and returned it to where I found it 😂 When I first started hounding around Prineville years ago. I found a inactive quarry about 20 miles east of town up Hwy 26. That was a cool place to hunt. There was a lot of quartz geodes and seam agate. One time I was there exploring the dry wash along the entrance road and I found a big pile of agates and other non-native rocks that somebody had dumped there There has been several times that I have found cut and polished rocks while hounding on the beach. |

Im more concerned about the guy with the rock levitating off his hand, or the guy who’s clothing is morphed to the geode.
