I just realized that I forgot to introduce myself when I first joined this forum. I live in Longmont Colorado and I spend a lot of time in Boulder and Estes Park as well. I’m kind of new to rock hounding but I have been going strong once I realized how absolutely amazing rocks are. I can sit for days and just go through the piles of rocks I have.
I have both rocks I have found and that I have bought. I have a National Geographic tumbler and a harbor freight double tumbler. I have had them going since the beginning of June but don’t have anything finished yet. I keep switching out my batches 🫣. I do have a drum of rocks in now though for what I hope is the final polish.
My kids are so impatient to see how they turn out (me too).

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1 Dec 1, 2024 16:49:20 GMT -5 *
