I Tumbled this Lake Superior agate awhile ago but just got around to getting a worthy photo of it. Pretty incredible details with what looks like dirt laying internally on each band. Thanks for looking Chuck

Okay I will try.
Amazing how the agate looks like the terraces with amazing shines and amazing shadows, and it's amazing it was made by the Earth and so amazingly tumbled and photographed by an artist.

You beat me! I guess I need to learn some new adjectives. I was truly overwhelmed with how sweet that rock is though!

Yep, that one deserves a good picture. What camera did you end up replacing that Sony with, Chuck? I remember you saying that your beloved old Sony died.

I searched and found a like new but 12 yr old exact replacement. I am just really comfortable with that model. I am sure there are better options but I know the learning curve would be more then I have time for. Chuck

Henry nailed it...this truly is a surreal specimen Chuck! I've seen plenty of Teepee Canyon Agates or Fairburns with red measles (I can never remember the "technical" name!)...but I've never seen anything like this piece!

That photo has no scale to it. I really should have included something to show the size. It would probably fit on a US dime. One more photo for the coffee table book that I should be making, lol Chuck
