Here are some picks that I took out of the Lot-O today. I just did 220 and 500 for these as some of the people that got some before said they were a little too smooth. These might still be too smooth but I have told people they can fix that by using a little sand paper in the locations they want them rough. There is crystal quartz (got a little banged up but seems solid), green tree agate (or so I was told), unakite, prairie agate, and one that is some sort of quartz/quartzite I think that I got from Lake Michigan. One of the interesting things about these is they are so thin you get some really good looking ones backlit. The closeups including the backlit ones are Jason jasoninsd prairie agates. These chipped a little along the edge but look kind of good that way. Thanks for taking a look, Chris

When I was in the music room today and saw the guitar pick I thought of your post. Would be great gifts for those who play guitar. I feel only 220 would be more than enough because they will hold the pick so often, and the grease on the fingers will apply to the stones again and again.

Nice ones. They could also make a simple pendant (drilled top).

Thanks. Killer picks Chris!! I'm shocked those PA's chipped like that! Love the backlit shots!! Thanks. I was surprised about the chips too. Sometimes you get a crack and the PA will crack but not usually chip like that. They are pretty thin. When I was in the music room today and saw the guitar pick I thought of your post. Would be great gifts for those who play guitar. I feel only 220 would be more than enough because they will hold the pick so often, and the grease on the fingers will apply to the stones again and again. I think you are probably right about the 220. I will try that with the next batch. Nice ones. They could also make a simple pendant (drilled top). Patty Thanks. I have thought about that but haven't done it yet. I will try it on a couple that I have.

Those are looking good. Personally if I was to use one I think I would want the side that you hit the strings with polished and then the side that you hold roughed up a bit. Of course everyone is different. Some people even hold them sideways and attack with the bigger rounded corner. When I use a pick it's a pretty flexible one.

The people I have given them to seem to like the sound they produce. They are not for you if you like flexible ones. A couple of these were end cuts so one side is bumpy.
