Since it's been raining so much, I couldn't get onto my band-saw to cut pre-forms, but I fortunately had one already cut, and ready to go. It's a pretty one to me, and one I hadn't seen before. Thanks Tela rockjunquie for the chance to do something new 😁 Stony Creek Brecciated Jasper Thanks for looking,
Patty

Thank you both, I'm thinking it'll look nice wrapped with copper, so I'm happy. Patty

For a rainy day you made the sun shine with that one. Like the green and brown red mix of color in that one. Hope to see it again when you decide what to do with it. Thx for sharing

You did it proud, Patty. I don't remember it, but I like it. Not too many greens that I like.

liveoak - I've never seen those greens in Stoney Creek - the material and the cab are gorgeous. It will really stand out in copper! Color me impressed

Thought I'd show the slabletes the cab came from, since tribeunited does like her ID's And to me, it shows why rock Identifying is so difficult. Here's the rough rock, as seen on the ebay listing, & it indeed looked like that in person.
We sliced up the rock for Tela & sent her the slabs from the most red/yellow part.
I kept the remainder, and as you can see, a lot of the pieces have much more green in them.
I'm guessing that the Stony Creek that everyone is used to seeing, has been cherry-picked to show the most red/yellow color.
Personally, I kind of like the green combined with that.
