I am not sure why I picked up so much of this from the creek last winter prolly cuz you knew they would be pretty once they got all slick and shiny ! Nice collection ... thanks for sharing the photos!

Fine polishes, for sure. I like the last one, too. A lot going on in that one.

I know how you feel! I try not to pick up quartzite or mudstones since A) I know what they are, B) they are a dime a dozen, and C) don’t have a good use for them. But some days they are just what keeps catching my attention!
Those turned out really nice! I love seeing the common rocks shined up… makes me feel like the rocks I have all over the place aren’t just “garbage”.

If there's room in the pockets, then they need to go home with you! LOL That last "moss agate" is SICK...like in the super good way! That is stunning my friend!!

Fine polishes, for sure. I like the last one, too. A lot going on in that one. Thanks. That last one is different. That little bit of white you see is more prevalent on the backside. I looked at it under a loupe today and it looks like agate material but it undercut in the tumbler. How can that be? So I may try to hand polish it on the wheel today (if my fingernails last) and see what happens. Will post if I can get a good close up photo. I know how you feel!
