It's a bright orange and fairly translucent with lots of blobs/bands throughout. I slabbed it from a rock found in landscaping rocks, mostly limestone with a bunch of quartz as well. Potentially from the great-lakes area. I assume it's a very common rock, since I've found absolute gobs of it just walking around, but i really like the colors! Thanks in advance. Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! I agree with James...looks like Chalcedony. I've got a source of it out here...but mine's an off-white color.
