Once again I want to say thank you roy for your ongoing support of the RTH Forum. Roy generously started this round of the Traveling Rock Box game with a box already stuffed with rock goodies and as the box traveled I'm certain that more was added than was taken out and it has stretched far beyond the normal dimensions of a Large Flat Rate box. I had planned to reorganize the contents into a new box but honestly there was no need to. I peeled at least six addresses off the box and with a proper corner-taping job having been done along the line it's still in good shape to travel one more time. Let's start the minimum bid off at $100 including LFRB freight which I think is over $20 now? Auction will close on 10/18/24 at 6PM PDT. If someone outside of the continental US buys it we'll have to negotiate actual freight. Minimum bid increment of $10 begins on the last day of the auction. I'm not going to post a bunch of photos - I'll let you all have fun reading through all 22 pages of the Traveling Rock Box thread and maybe this will get a few more folks excited to play the next time around. I had planned on stuffing additional rocks into every nook and cranny of the box but honestly the box is so full all I could get into it was a couple of flats of cabochon preforms laying on the top as shown here: Bid often and lets get this big box rolling to a new owner!

What are the two green ones with black blobs (lower left and second up on the right)?

Oooh now I need to think about this for a moment as I'm also saving up for a cabbing machine. Not that this box isn't worth it, it is. It's just whatever I end up spending on it comes out of ye olde cab machine fund.

Welp, I'm out. I found something shinier and bought that. It's not a cabbing machine but if I make enough things out of it... I could probably be a lot closer to getting one.

All things considered $230 for the box is actually a good deal if you averaged every slab at $5 a slab (which some are considerably more than that) Also considering that blue mnt. Jasper slab is easily a $50 slab. If that even makes sense what I’m trying to convey?

Oddly enough, the temptation is still strong in me to bid on the thing just to see what's all IN the box. I just spent $105 on 1.2 pounds of old stock holley blue which is what took me out of the running for this. However if I find more in the couch cushions....

I’d like to take a look at it.
