Very jealous, I was able to pick up 2 "lakers" last weekend that had 1/10th banding yours have.

Very jealous, I was able to pick up 2 "lakers" last weekend that had 1/10th banding yours have. Absolute score. I lucked out but they all have a lot of pretty bad fractures. More than what I would consider normal for a LSA, almost like they went through a rock crusher at the gravel pit or a very aggressive tumbling. Thats ok since I'll plan to cut a lot of these up

Good grief! Those make my "small cabs" seem gigantic! You must have good eyesight to work on those lil ones but I bet because of their size that they're quick to go through. I would love to see your process on how you work those tumbled (nature and otherwise) rocks. I would guess super glue, a small nail, a dremel/drill and flat lap?

I glued that one onto a nail in the video and the ones in the post used a 1/4 inch aluminum rod šµāš«

These look so adorable! I have polished beads with no hole. I was considering cutting them into halves so they become two small cabs. But even cutting the beads evenly requires more skill than I currently have

I'm going to watch it right now, I need to research the best way I can work on some lavender lace I'm slabbing and the workable material isn't much bigger than maybe 20mm at the widest. - Rob
