220 - 600 - 1500 - 3000 - 8000 grit progression and it looks so much better with my improved technique vs months ago. Kudos to opalpyrexia, rockjunquie and rmf for talking me off the redo EVERYTHING cliff.

Here are a couple of the new shinier pics. There's some wax underneath it that's popping it off the wood.

Here's the original polish for comparison.

Heheh, do these count as healed cracks for this month's cab contest or do I have to make this cab during this month I wonder.

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1 Dec 1, 2024 16:49:20 GMT -5 *
