Hello! Since a lot of people here sell, I'm asking the group for suggestions. Long story short, I manage the sales of a jewelry selling site for a nonprofit. As such, I often get donations of jewelry from friends, etc. Recently I received a large collection, one piece of which is a Kirk Smith bracelet which appears to be worth somewhere between $500 and $750. The website sells primarily cheap jewelry--beads from China, occasionally a piece from me, and other things that rarely go over $100. I don't think their website is a good venue for selling more expensive jewelry so am hoping to find a good site for selling (and will then simply donate the proceeds). Any ideas? The bracelet is AZ turquoise, cast silver and a red stone--likely jasper.
If anyone has any ideas for me, I'd love to hear them!

Did a quick google search. Kirk Smith, as you probably know, was a Navajo artist. He has also passed away. I don't know what yours looks like, but you may have low balled the price considerably. His work demands high prices. Personally, I would find a jeweler to possibly authenticate it and certainly to confirm what stones it may have. Maybe not in writing, but for your own confidence in selling it.
I would sell it on eBay. You'll get the most views and competitive pricing.
I looked on Etsy. Of course, their search function is awful. I wouldn't even waste my time there. If you search for "Kirk Smith bracelet", lots of stuff is included in the search that has no business there. That drives traffic AWAY from your sale. I, myself, was diverted from the search to another very unrelated ad.
I found a lot of unknown-to-me, high end sites, but who knows who is reliable?
I don't know about how you feel about Craig's List, but in my area, one can get very good deals on just about everything. If you paid for an appraisal, it would help a lot in all avenues, especially CL. The money you spend on an appraisal would be the charges you will incur at other cites.
I guess a lot depends on how quickly you want to sell, or rather, how long can you hold out for the best price. Personally, I go would go as low as I could. Then you aren't spending more in fees to sell it, which can add up.
Where ever you sell it, be sure to push the sale on FB, IG, X, etc- whichever you use. Even the cite you run. Can you use that cite to drum up a "sale"? Maybe a contest with the highest donation or something with a minimum? Just spit balling.
That's all I have, really. As a disclaimer, everyone knows that I despise Etsy, your mileage may vary.
Hope that was helpful. Good luck!

rockjunquie , Tela, thank you. It is a fairly intricate bracelet and I may be low on cost. I found a note in the boxes of jewelry that said "Kirk Smith bracelet" (from my friend's mother's jewelry) and looked at all the turquoise stuff I had and didn't find a K S mark. So I emailed my friend (I knew she had kept a few pieces and also wanted her to know that it could be quite valuable. Here's one of the photos she sent back, the other one shows the K S mark. I was aware of who he is and his history, which is what stopped me in my tracks! I love the appraisal idea, and will take a look at both Spokane's and Wenatchee's Craigslist. Thanks so much!

Yeah, Susan, that's pretty valuable. It looks similar to a few I saw this morning.
