Hello all!
Just got into rock tumbling in the past few months, as well as rock hounding. I tried one batch of harder stones and one batch of calcite so far. The calcite for sure needs work LOL
Looking forward to what I can learn around here in my free time!
Thanks, PrettyPebbles

Hi from Australia!
I've never tumbled calcite but it has recently become my favourite rock (check out Caribbean calcite... it's beautiful!). Are you tumbling it in a rotary or vibe? Dry tumbling? I'm really curious.

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! I've cabbed a bunch of calcite materials...but never tumbled them. I don't doubt for minute tumbling them is WAY more difficult than cabbing them!
