When I went to the rock show last weekend, I did some horse trading for 3 huge tumblers. 12lb Lortones. 2 3 barrel and 1 2 barrel. I have the 2 good ones, the 2 and the lighter of the 3's going. I am going to trade off the heavy 3 barrel one to a guy from the rock club. Tonight I cleaned out the 4 barrels I have had going, 3 12 pounders and a homemade 9 pounder. There was nothing spectacular about the 9 pounder, some went to the next stage and some went back in. The first 12 pounder had misc stuff including a few of the scrap chunks from "the sphere". It was surprising how some of the stuff was ready to go on and some looked like it was never tumbled. Just the way it goes. The second 12 pounder was nothing spectacular either. The 3rd one was mostly filled with pounders and above from my recent MT trip. While none were even close to being ready to move on, most showed wonderful progress and none had any of the crap that prevents you from seeing inside any more. As I was picking through the rocks, one by one, I tossed a few in the trash can because that is where they belong, and some went to their appropriate spots in one barrel or coffee can. A few were things that I am not going to fool with because they are more work than I am willing to put in (will take too long), or I just don't care enough to fool with them. Some were even pieces of "the sphere". Eventually I am going to fill a small flat rate and sell them here. Maybe around Thanksgiving or maybe a little later.
Now I am going to have to start ordering a lot of course grit. It should be well worth it.

Looking forward to seeing what you got rolling. Hard to beat Johnson Bros for bulk grit.
