The Great Pumpkin (or at least my version of one) rises from the petrified pumpkin patch, with a day to spare
I guess I sort of cheated, but it is all wire, with just a wee bit of solder thrown in.
It was copper solder, after all, and I certainly got to practice my solder control, as copper solder only comes in one temp. HOT. And 18 gauge wires melt fast !
Maybe next year (did I actually just say that !!) I need to try for a curved stem.
We're all waiting to see your real pumpkin art !
Thanks for looking,
Patty

LOL!! Very cool! He's adorable. I can see a lot of work and planning went into this. That soldering was a trick!

The once a year pendant Outstanding, Patty! That is simply perfect! Thanks Gary, WELL, I don't know about perfect or anything - but it was fun to figure out.
And only took me 2 tries to get that mouth & nose right !
Thanks Mike.

Thank you It was interesting to do a hybrid wrap (soldering & wire wrapping).
Has me thinking of other possibilities.
