Found this in my rocks in the garage. I've probably asked this years ago- but I can't remember...rock or fossil? Thanks!

Looks like a common rock. Don't see anything really defining as some form of fossil.

Looks like it is quartz/chalcedony that formed around some coral.

miket I have found a couple of somewhat similar rocks at the Walker Ranch in West Texas. To me they appear to have formed in elongated air/gas vertical bubbles in the rhyolite that later filled with chalcedony and quartz that tended to form vertical towers of each. Also found the geodes in the rhyolite formation on the ranch that were in the vertical position, which was not the same as most of the plume agate biscuits which generally form in horizontal flat biscuits.
