Yes, dug for the rhyolites the second day. Bit if a hike as the colorful stuff, including the robin egg blue is at the top of the mountain.

I have a friend who lives in Southern California. He comes up often and we make trips to go get rocks. He went on this last club trip. Planning another one shortly before it gets too cold.

What I do when people have cars who cannot make it to a site is to get them as close as possible, then put them in my truck to shuttle them to the dig site. Will be doing this on the upcoming trip.
