Hi! Stumbled upon your site by accident, and I feel I’ve found my people! So I signed up. I’ve been a rocker for as long as I can remember, with my mom scolding me for rocks in the laundry ! Hehe. And as fate would have it, I married into the Tanner family , the owners of the Rock and Book shop at Knotts Berry Farm. Which sadly, is no longer in existence. I recently moved out here to Bullhead city Az., from Long Beach Ca. And have been searching for likeminded folks to connect with to go on some rockhounding excursions with. Welcome Leanne from Southern Nevada.
You are no very far from me, but I rarely look for stuff South of here unless going to Burro Creek or Oatman. Most of Southern Nevada is off limits to collecting. May do Burro Creek in the spring, but for now focusing on Central and Northern Nevada before it gets too cold. If you are interested in joining my friends and I in Nevada let me know. Planning another upcoming trip right now.

Welcome from Central California! You're only 2.5 hrs from Quartzite. Folks here are already making plans probably for January. I plan on making it and plan on some hounding excursions from there.
