I just got one. Has anyone else used one of these? Looking for any tips that you have. I have been just running 60/90 in the first batch. Tom

Stop using 60/90. start with 120. Too course will wear out the barrel.

Mark, Thanks for the reply, the directions they gave were 1lb 60/90, 1 lb 400, 1 lb 600, 1 lb AO. 24 hours each step. What do you use in yours? Tom

I used Thumlers before they went to hell. All of the vibe tumblers are used with 120 to start. It has been found that the course grit causes rapid wear. What I did when I had my vibes going was 60/90 in a rotary thubler to rough them out because I could get them good in a day or two. Then 120, 220, 600, and then polish. I usually left them in the polish much longer than the grits.

Oh boy, someone gave Bob an idea it seems. I've been looking at vibes and some have pretty darn small openings per the photographs. Rob for instance says his LotO has only a 2.2" or 2.5" opening or something like that. The donut type bowls make it hard for me to estimate from the photos.

The UV10 jello mold will handle a couple 3 inchers in a batch, maybe a tiny bit bigger if they go through coarse in a rotary like we have done. I don't think we have ever gone more coarse than 220 graded in them, since they are a hard plastic.

Thanks Rockoonz. Looks like if I get a vibe of any big size, would be big money, certainly over $1,000.
