I was all set to call this cinnamon stone or cinnabar in something, but then I did an image search and it came up all over the place.

Anyone have a guess or advice for testing this one??

Very pretty and cabs well. It is not cinnabar. I can't remember what it is though. Also called Rosalinda.

I saw it called tourmaline, Rosalinda, Cinnabarite, Cinnabar in Quartz, Rubellite, and Epidote in Marialite.

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1 Dec 1, 2024 16:49:20 GMT -5 *
