Hello, I am from Nova Scotia and am new to Rock Tumbling. I have been a rockhound/fossil collector in the past. I got a Nat Geo Starter tumbler kit from my wife on my birthday and first batch of rocks came out very well. I did Not use the grit or instructions that came with the kit.
Look forward to meeting you folks!
Cheers

Welcome from Washington State, I dabble in many things lapidary but since tumbling is so passive I use it as a white noise generator while I work on my flat lap

Hi from Australia and good one knowing to use a different grit to get good results! You can still use the grit; it's just their polish that's awful. I would use their "polish" as an extra pre-polish step.
