Yes, it is a type of quartz. Was thinking about throwing them in the cement mixer for a little while to clean them up some to see better where the patterns are. Have to take the cement mixer barrel apart though and redo the seal, which has worn through and is now leaking. So will be a few days before I can start running rocks in the cement mixer again.

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1
