My daughter Dianne bought a 2016 Subaru, and I'm impressed with the features it has.

We purchased our Subaru in 2019. Should we need a new car, it will also be a Subaru.

I drove a Subaru Outback for a while. Great car. And honestly, I’m tempted to get another as a commuter car. But I started noticing some changes in myself. First my hairstyle changed. Then I started wearing a lot of flannels, high wasted jeans and logging boots. Next I acquired 10 cats and started blasting Cheryl Crow while repeating something about smashing the patriarchy. But what was really wild, was my sensational lust for women. I mean… I always liked women. But I found myself really liking women 😂.

Good luck with the Subaru! Sadly they are not as reliable as Toyota or Honda vehicles. I have seen many which when they hit 100,000 miles start to nickle and dime owners to death. I have a few friends who owned or own them and a couple of them have had to have new engines with under 120,000 miles on them. They are nice when new or low mileage but when they get older they just don't hold up as well as some other makes.

Those Subaru Outback are one of the safest vehicles to be in if you're in an accident too.

But we also found what you did. Replacement parts are extremely expensive and the head gasket failed at about 100,000 miles which basically means a new engine these days.
