i should probably post these in "creating Cabochons" but...i'm not. haha. i just finished a few things that i've been working on, starting with the little 14mm x 10, green Chrysoprase (not Zotika's yet!) and working clockwise, a piece of Randy's (not so green) Zebra Jasper, the two very dark stones are the fist cabs out of a slab of mahogonay obsidian that Connrock gave me ages ago that i finally worked up the courage to try, the top piece is Texas Plume Agate i got from BearCreek, at the three o'clock is a piece of Laguna agate (also from Bear) and lastly another 14mm x 10mm piece of Rainbow Jasper that Kim gave me: and some close ups, that mahogany was extremely hard to photograph properly, i took about a dozen shots and this is the only decent one that shows the (fairly weird) detail: the Texas Plume and the Laguna: got more on the dop, gonna be a rainy weekend here so more grinding wil get done than yardwork...hehehe. thanks for looking, KD

KD: Love that plume cab but that eye in the obsidian is very kewl, kinda spooky. I like that! Man, that darn Randy sure got some neat pieces in his green zebra mix. Love that red spotted cab! I think he sweet talks all the gals at Astrogallery to get all the good stuff in his auctions *sniff*. And he's got all that hair too. Sometimes life just ain't fair!!...mel

Grind away KD, we want to see more. Those look great. The plume and laguna are my favs, but they're all great. The yardwork can wait. You've heard the procrastonators saying, "Why do today what you can put off 'til tomorrow!"
