I just got these in the mail today, more of my ebay wins. But after you see these, you'll understand whay I love agates. Needless to say, these aren't going to be full slabs by this evening. Look for them as cabs by tomorrow in the the cab section. All four slabs Some closeups Sagenite plume agate Montana Moss Agate They called this one Montana Agate Geode And then there is this slab I picked up at a rock shop in Santa Cruz, Calif. Not sure, but I think it may be some type of agate or onyx. I'm pretty pleased with this purchase. The ebay seller is bizrocks.

I think I might actually know one of those!
The last one is silver lace onyx/agate (I've seen it both ways). It comes from the silver mines in California.

Wow! Nice material. I love inclusions in agate. Even though it's cruel to carve up those spectacular slabs, I still can't wait to see the cabs....mel
PS Arkasan: Actually silver lace onyx is another of those misnamed materials. It's not an onyx agate but rather a soft travertine. I sure wish sellers would quit selling travertine as agate or jasper. it confuses naming issues a lot!

Ahh, Photobucket seems to of capped you Ed. If you use them for free, they will suspend your account at any time if you go over there bandwidth. It will come back, but at times when allot of folks start looking at any of your images, anywere. Bandwidth is used and photobucket would rather charge you for an account in this case than give it away free. Only one photo came up for me.

I think photobucket is experiencing some problems. The first pic loaded fast, the others just kept spinning so I tried going right to Ed's account to see them and it's just not responding. Maybe tomorrow or later.

Well, I cabbed a piece of the onyx or whatever it is, it is very soft, but it took a great shine. I have a premium account with photobucket so that's not the problem. The pics all show up for me no problem. Hopefully you folks that are having problems will be able to see them later on. Maybe they just have a lot of traffic on their server right now.

Off topic...
I think photo bucket has been experiencing problems lately. I've had a lot of images not show up - on ebay, on this site, across the net as a whole. At first I thought it was my connection at work, but nope. Happens at home as well.
But I could see these often!
Sabre - the travertine makes a lot of sense, considering the mining source...
