mainly these are saw tailings, but there is one very fine Lake Superior Agate that i got from Cher a long while back, also some Iraqui rocks i got from Alice....unfortunately the close up of aforementioned agate was blurry so i will try again another time perhaps. meanwhile here is the plateful and a few close ups that DIDN'T come out blurry, a little bit of everything in this batch: marra mamba: and some brazilian chips: and here are a few just for fun, my cherry tree was blossoming, so i had to get a few shots: i should go buy a bottle of sake and set my picnic blanket up under the tree and stare up at them..... thanks for looking, KD

Oooo everything is so pretty. My flowering crab trees are still trying to bud out but all the pin cherries and what not are blooming. I love spring. That marra mamba is really cool and your agate chips are beautiful. Good job on the rocks there.

Yeah, that sake gazing at cherry tree picnic is very good idea. I would enjoy one such day. Be careful I might invite myself. And you do have nice batch of very interesting rocks, as always. For me, that mara mamba - very cool. I see some nice necklaces coming up. Enjoy your rocks under cherry tree with sake. Zotika

And a darn fine tumble it is! They all look great, but if I could pick a favourite it would be those green ones in the middle. Is that chrysoprase?

Is that Montana moss in the background in the 1st pic? Wikipedia featured their article on Pink Floyd today. Is that where your handle comes from?

very interesting Wiki link, thanks, Wades and yes, my nick is cuz i am a PF fan. Montana Moss? not sure...but there are some very flat dendritic pieces i got a while back on eBay.
Don, that is chrysoprase, but not the nice creamy stuff i got from Zotika, rather some medium crap material that was too pitted to cab (i did try), so tossed it in the tumbler. came out OK, well enough to glue bell caps to anyway.
Zotika, you and your family are always welcome under my cherry tree, can't wait to see the cabs you working on!

Who knows maybe one day? I also can't wait to see cabs I am working on. Three days I didn't have the chance to see them. Too much to work at faculty. I am starting to be desperate. Zotika

Patience, Z. Patience! It will be rewarded! I have 2 of my 6 tumblers on the final polish and I just want to open them up sooooo bad!! But, I know it will be worth the wait. It's like slow torture but, we knew that going into this hobby! If you are going to tumble then you'll have to wait at the very least...30 days. But, if you are a grinder then you don't have to wait as long now do you? And as you can see from the plate of stones above waiting until the right time to bring them out of the process will be rewarding!!

Those rocks are gorgeous! Well done! Late Spring/Early Summer is a beautiful time of year; absolutely! You did well to share those pictures of your cherry tree in blossom. Thank you.
