There's just no stopping this guy from being the most generous person on this board. He asked me for one of those water trays so he could make a flat lap and since his birthday was coming up, I told him not to worry about paying for it. So instead, I'm sitting here today and the mailman drops a box of rocks of at my door and after checking the return address, yep, you guessed it, from Steve. There was some beautiful rocks in the box and I do believe he collected these himself. They were all in seperate bags with 3x5 cards identifying what was in the bags. Check these out. Thank you Steve, I'm going to have some fun with these.

Holy Freakin' Wow, that pet wood is gorgeous. It can't really be that blue though, it's too darn pretty. LOL I know how that goes with the camera playing games with you. Too darn nice though, but you deserve it Ed, you're a very generous person yourself.

Yea, I thought is was super cool of steve to send me all these goodies. And yes, that Hampton Butte pet wood IS that blue, no camera tricks. When I sprayed it with water, that blue just jumped right out there. I believe the lace looking one in the fourth pic is called Amythest lace. Anyway, I cut a cab out of that small piece of Lookout Point pet wood and will post it in the cab section. Thanks again Steve.

Ed, Glad you like the stuff! Like everyone has said, you deserve this! That blue/green Pet Wood is really that blue! That piece is a piece that broke off my 300lb'er...and that is the one sitting in front of my house. The whole piece is totally cool. All the rocks were self collected except the misc. rocks. I was given those by a friend up in Oregon. Tomorrow I'm heading out to the Geode Beds and am hoping to get a few bucketfuls. I'll take the camera and report on the day when I return. Enjoy the rocks Ed...and Sands...a piece of wood will be on it's way to you...another GENEROUS FELLOW on the board. Steve

Sands, I actually had a piece break off when I was digging it out. I had a fairly large chunk, and that's where I'm getting it from. I'm definitley not breaking any off my big piece. Kim, you can see a pic of the big one under the Life/Univers section. I posted a pic of my house, and it's the large rock up closest to my house. Stoner, yes, I'll bet it's around 300lbs. You can imagine what I was doing when I found it. I almost passed out with excitment. It was beginners' luck. Steve
